Our Statement of Faith

This is the statement of the Bible doctrine as believed and taught by Jubilee Celebration Ministries. Our statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the principles of the doctrines of Christ.

1. About God
We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:5-6, Gen. 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17).

2. Jesus Christ
We believe He is God and man. We believe in the deity of Christ. (John 1: 1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5).
1. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
2. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
3. He died (John 19:30-35)
4. He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
5. He ascended into heaven bodily (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)

3. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4, John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13).

4. The Holy Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible contains the inspired and perfect Word of God. It is the supreme source of truth for all men and for living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 20-21).

5. About Satan:

We believe that Satan, Lucifer by name was originally a good angel who rebelled against God, taking a multitude of angels with him. He is responsible for the evils and wickedness in this world. (Isaiah 14:10-17, Ezekiel 28:11-19, Revelation 12:7-9, 20:10) .

6. About Man
We believe Man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of God. (Genesis 1:27-28, 1 Thessalonians 5:23).

7. Salvation
We believe Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation (John 14:6; Romans 10:8-10, Titus 2:5, John 3:3-5, Ephesians 5:25-27).

8. The Precious Blood of Jesus
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus (Acts 3:19, Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7).

9. The Cross

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body, salvation for the soul of everyone that believes.
(1 Peter 2: 24; Acts 3: 16, Acts 9: 32 -35).

10. Divine Empowerment for Service
We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Ghost, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness. (Acts 1: 8; 2:4; 3:1 -26; 4:5 – 12).

11. Sanctification

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15: 16; 1 Corinthians 6:11).

12. The Rapture and Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the rapture of the church and the Second coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30).

13. Ressurection

We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgement. (Revelations 20: 11 -15; 1 Corinthians 15: 12 – 23)

14. The Great Commission

We believe and wholly accept the great commission given by Jesus Christ instructing us to “Go into the entire world and preach the good news to all creation”. We believe in Evangelism of the world and its discipleship with signs, wonders and miracles following. (Mark 16:15-20; Matthew 28:18-20; Proverbs 11:30, Luke 4:18-19).

15. Water Baptism
We believe that water baptism is by immersion and is the correct commandment of our Lord and it is for believers only. It is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 26:26-29, 28:19; Romans 6:3-11; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34; 1 Peter 3:21; Matthew 3:16).

16. Devine Healing
We believe in divine healing of the human body by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. We believe in divine healing in its various aspects as practiced in the Bible by the early church (Mark 16:17-18; 1 Peter 2:24; Acts 10:38, Luke 4:18-19).

17. The Church
We believe that the one true church is the whole company of those who are genuine Christians saved by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 16:17-19; Matthew 18:15-20, Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:23-25).
